Metropolitan Education Commission (MEC)

The Metropolitan Education Commission (MEC) composed of 34 members, facilitates partnership and collaboration among education, business, service, and government agencies to promote education and to advocate on issues affecting education in Pima County. As a LINKS partner, the MEC seeks to advance its Goal One: Graduate! initiative by helping to lay the foundation for young people (K-5) to learn. The MEC provides the LINKS partnership linkages to the broader Tucson community including business, government, and ethnic groups.
